Leave a Lasting Impact with Child Advocacy Center Donations

Your tax-deductible gift helps the CAC support families and promote child abuse prevention. Thanks to your child advocacy center donations, families in our community can access wraparound services at no cost to them, and the CAC can provide free training to professionals and the community.

The CAC offers each family visiting the center wraparound services including food assistance, gloves, hats, small comfort items, resources, and self-care items like journals. You can help by donating these needed items or holding a drive for needed items. Please contact the CAC by email at CAC@UHHospitlas.org or call 330-297-8838 for more information.

Current CAC needs include:

• Non-perishable food items
• Small items for teens
• Bed-In-A-Bag bedding
• Gas cards
• Small gifts for children and teens
• Blankets
• Bottled water

Thank You to Our Donors for Helping Us Expand Our Center

In 2022, through generous support from the community, the Jo Woodward Solem Foundation, and grant funding, the CAC was able to make several upgrades to the center. This includes state-of-the-art forensic interview equipment, electronic records, and a new website!

The CAC has expanded and improved services for at risk youth including all new prevention programming, the first Portage County Anti-Human Trafficking Coalition, and service expansion. All services for at risk youth continue to be completely FREE, thanks to your support at our child advocacy center fundraisers.
